Open Enrollment
At age 65 and/or when their Medicare Part B benefits start, consumers have an open enrollment period that
last for six months. During that time, you can enroll in any available plan offered in North Carolina without having to satisfy
any qualifying health questions.
When you enroll in a policy, you have a 30 day free look period during which you can cancel and
receive a full return of premium.
